Why we really bought the house
Sunday, March 15th, 2009We picked some (maybe 3/4) of the oranges off our orange tree today… This is after we’ve already enjoyed quite a few this winter, and Sarah thinks the tree will do a lot better once we begin giving it fertilizer.
There are quite a few baby oranges that are just turning orange, some that are still green, some that are green and the size of olives, and many blossoms of various maturity. But then once they become big, it’s difficult to tell if they are ripe or not – I need a technique that doesn’t involve tasting the inside to find out!
